Briefly mentioned in our list of the best champions in 12.10, Jana has since become the champion with the best victory in the game (54.42%). Since ADC fans can only use it for Air Avatar, many expected its redevelopment with this patch. At the same time, the reduction in healing and shield affects their main opponents in the magic role, while it has less effect on nerf. Jana should be one of the best champions to choose from as she hasn’t had any changes in patch 12.11 and won’t really be affected by ADC aside from Kraken Slayer Nerfs and Lethal Tempo Rooney. The goal here is not to make a guide, but to quickly explain why it is so powerful. Janna is played with Glacial Augment Rooney, which creates a slowdown zone while immobilizing the opponent. This rune is quite strong on the botlane because ADC and Support are usually close together, so placing CC on one will also slow the other. With her slow W and Q bump, Jana can land her CCs very easily. He first slows down the opponent, then when he can no longer stop him, he sends his whirlwind. With a combination of slow times and skirmishing, if Jana and her ADC have the range advantage, they can place the full rotation of their spells on the opponent, unable to retaliate.
Janna’s shield, like the others, has reduced her absorb capacity, but the AD bonuses she provides are unaffected. Note that at Jana’s level 5, her shield always gives the equivalent of a line in AD. The number of games made or not made when boats reach this level is quite large and therefore creates situations where the equivalent of 875 gold is out of items ADC can use during its full turn. Spells, at least until the shield is destroyed. If several agreements have already been made, Dulan’s transition to level 5 with Jana can often lead to the death or forced retirement of opponents. In addition to the shield that provides AD, Jana, like Yume, can decide to let her ADC slip away and overpower another allied champion who might be better able to lead the team (provided she has the AD, of course).
how to receive
The whole problem is there. Healers who respond well to Jana usually receive full healing and shield reduction, while Jana is only partially affected. Therefore, this answer is no longer valid today for this reason. Poke/burst Mages might be a good answer, but mark will get Nerf in 12.11 which will make it less effective. Vel’Koz and Xerath continue to be good answers as their excellent range allows them to attack safely and they have enough damage to quickly destroy Jana’s shield, preventing the opponent from fully utilizing her bonus damage ADC. Be warned though, support mages aren’t the best at the moment, so while Vel’Koz and Xerath are good answers, keep in mind that they’re not blind champions today.
