Belvet’s release date was immediate when it was first announced. Players fought to play the last champion and use his incredible team. On Monday, Riot Games released gameplay footage showing just how powerful it can be.
Based on leaked information and gameplay footage, Belvet looks like a mighty jungle. The champion has a passive that drains sound received from champion kills, jungle minions, and super minions. Gathers them together to create a passive stack he can activate, giving health to minions in the jungle and sending an empty party against towers.
The ability to pressure towers like the Jungler is quite impressive. Add to that the ability to move a few skills around and the “true form” result and the Velvet seems to fit pretty well.

Bel’Veth will be released on June 9 at 4 p.m. ET. The date makes sense because it’s after the MSI tournament so make sure this new champion doesn’t shake up the pro scene.
Although the champion still looks strong in the preview, it will take some time to figure out the power level. As soon as the actual game hits the live server, we can decide where it matches the current meta.
