The rumor that Breaking Bad is in Fortnite started after Breaking Bad’s Guys Fring was spotted in a Fortnite crossover poll. Epic Games has released a cross poll they do regularly to collect data from their playerbase. According to a leaked HYPEX, Epic Games named Breaking Bad’s Gus Fring in their latest poll. Breaking Bad isn’t the only game with the characters mentioned in the survey. HYPEX included a list of Pirates of the Caribbean, Charlie D’Amelia, Black Adam, and many other characters mentioned in the survey.

HYPEX explained Epic sends out polls to prioritize collaboration over others. The survey helps Epic Games decide what players are looking for based on how many votes they think are a priority for the collaboration.
As part of the category, the TikTok platform was also mentioned in the survey. Players were asked to tag any dance they saw while using the app, hinting they could add new emotes inspired by trending TikTok dances.
