The latest Fortnite update removed some classic weapons. Here’s what you need to know.
Fortnite’s latest major update, v21.40, saw the addition of some cool features. The Dragon Ball collaboration that saw Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and Bulma travel to Fortnite Island is arguably the biggest in Fortnite history. But if anime transitions really aren’t your thing, the update has brought back some familiar content.
Pirate Cannons are disabled and players are allowed to fire a barrage of bullets at unsuspecting opponents. Team up with a friend or go solo to practice on the ball. Whatever your style, you need to know where to find them.
Currently, Pirate Cannons can only be found at one point of interest on the island – the returning Lazy Lagoon.
The Lazy Lagoon has taken over where the Daily Bugle used to be, and players will notice a number of pirate-themed structures scattered throughout the area. But where you really want to go is the big ship in the middle.
There are several places around the POI where balls can be found. You can find one by climbing to the top of the ship. On the platform near the bow of the ship, in front of the sail, you can find a cannon that you can control and fire.
The Lazy Lagoon is a pretty hot place, so be sure to be on the lookout for pirate balls.
