Sideways Weapons returns to Fortnite for a limited time in Chapter 3: Season 2.
As the threat against the Cuban Queen comes to an end and Sideways no longer haunts the truth, strange weapons have returned to the island. From now until 8:59 p.m. ET on May 24, Sideways Rifle and Sideways Minigun were not open during Sideways Showdown Week.
A new batch of Special Missions is active as part of the week-long event, players can earn a bit more by using Weapon XP.
So where can players find side weapons?

It shouldn’t be too hard to get sidearms this week. The Side Rifle and Side Minigun can be found in chests and as loot.
With no Cuban beasts on the island, you might be wondering how to upgrade Sideways weapons without Cube parts. Players just need to enter the upgrade queue.
The Side Rifle and Side Minigun will be available until 8:59 p.m. ET on May 24. The next event will start at 9 a.m. on the same day
