Epic Games has announced a series of Star Wars-themed celebrations in honor of Star Wars Day on May 4, but the celebration will go way beyond that.
Today, as part of Fortnite’s latest v20.30 update, Epic Games announced their plans for Star Wars Day, May 4. As part of the 4th of May festivities, players will have the opportunity to battle with lightsabers, receive special rewards, and purchase a variety of Star Wars-themed costumes.
Players can obtain Luke Skywalker, Kaylo Ren, Mays Window, and Obi-Wan lamps from unlocked vehicles for this event. These weapons can be found scattered around Fortnite Island. Alternatively, players can find the E-11 Blaster Rifle as loot from boxes or trade bars at Stormtrooper checkpoints.

Players can also participate in special Star Wars missions that run from now until 12:00 a.m. ET on May 17. Each May 4 mission rewards XP, and you’ll receive Empire Banner cosmetics for five performances.
