Thiago Mendes scores a FUT Showdown special goal ahead of his side’s FIFA 22 game against West Ham in the Europa League quarter-finals on April 7.
EA Sports periodically releases Showdown goals and SBCs during the Ultimate Team cycle, where two players stand out in a major World Cup game. Each player – a representative of each team – receives a first increase with the possibility of further increases. The player of the winning team gets +2, the loser remains the same. If two teams are tied, both players receive a total of +1 bonus.
Mendes represents Lyon and Andrew Yarmolenko represents West Ham.

In Ligue 1 Liaisons, you must have exactly 18 Ligue 1 players in your starting XI and on the bench, a maximum of one loanee and a minimum of five first-team players.
Mendes has a plethora of connectivity options in FUT 22, including great Luke Pack connectivity with any custom card. He also maintains close ties with the RTTF with Jason Denier and Hussein Auer.
The Yarmolenko and Mendes FUT Showdown Goal Cards expire on April 6.
