Warzone devs eye lower loadout prices

Warzone developers Raven Software came up with the idea of adding a systematically reduced prize structure to Battle Royale matches.

A similar version was included in early August as part of Titanium Trials LTM, which itself is a spin-off of the popular Iron Trials LTM. Essentially, over time and rounds, Loadout Drops become cheaper, allowing cash-strapped players who may have gotten off to a poor start in the match to compete against players who have already earned cash. .

As part of the v1.19 update, Loadout Drop prizes have been increased from 8500 to 10k cash to encourage Warzone players to go out with unlocked weapons instead of paying to win. Although money can be earned by completing contracts and other ways in Battle Royale matches, Loadout Drops are a huge advantage over the default loadout weapons. In the proposed new version, it seems that the Warzone developers have found compromises.

It is clear that people are in favor of the price cut, with more than 75% of voters saying they are in favor, three hours before the end of the poll.

Warzone BR matches are dangerous enough without you having to worry about making money or leaving weapons exposed. If passed, these changes could serve to level the playing field in Battle Royale matches and throw the final moments of the game into utter chaos.

Although Raven Software has a reputation for incorporating user feedback into its games, it’s impossible to say exactly what these changes will be. It’s clear now that people want cheap guns. And why not? What would you do if you could buy something for $10 or wait 1 minute and buy it for $9?
