Our lineup of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Assault Rifles is here to explain which guns are best to use at Caldera, Fortune’s Keep, and Rebirth Island with the release of Raven Software’s latest major update.

With the Season 4 Reloaded patch, we not only got a brand new Vargo-S Assault Rifle, but also made some big changes to weapon class options. From powerful Kilo 141 mounts to a long range meta that can be even wider, here’s a look at how Assault Rifles stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.

At S Tier, there are 12 ARs that seem like a staple of Season 4 Reloaded, at least initially. The BAR and Cooper Carbine recoil models were a bit harder to control, the Itra Burst’s projectile speed was reduced, the M13’s damage was reduced slightly, and Volk was pissed off and flooded across the board. The NZ-41 was a bit overkill with its damage and recoil control, but as we’ve seen so many times in the past, we think a gun is actually worse when we see it malfunctioning in-game. The KG M40 will be a bit harder to wield, but overall it looks set to take over the weapon class. However, perhaps the biggest change in the patch is that the long-lost Kilo 141 seems to have returned to meta status. Meanwhile, the Nikita AVT, Automaton, Vargo 52, AS44, and AK-47 (BOCW) will also remain solid options, so feel free to unleash them.

Tier A has several variants which are the most effective and generally remain balanced for use in Warzone. Essentially, these ARs sit outside of the main meta, but can still get the job done and keep you competitive. The all-new Vargo-S mounts are here for now, but it seems like a great option for long-range support and for snipers. Made STG44’s recoil harder to control, CR-56 AMAX will become usable again once its damage is normalized, FARA 83’s damage range is increased, and Krig 6’s damage gets ballooned. Continuing the trend discussed earlier, now is the best time to unveil long-lost fan favorites like the Grau 5.56 and M4A1.

These weapons remain valid at Tier B, but could still use a small balloon to entice more players to seriously consider using them. Unfortunately, the fun ends there. Ultimately, some are still quite popular, but statistically unreasonable compared to the weapons above.

Whether for long-range support or snipers, these C-rank rifles aren’t even close to making their way into the meta and definitely need some upgrading in Warzone.
