Amazingly, in the middle of the second season of Warzone and Vanguard, Treyarch Studios released a brand new content update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on Friday.
From the return of the fan-favorite map to the debut of the all-new 1980s Assault Rifle, here’s a brief breakdown of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War March 4 update.

The beginning of the patch is a remixed edition of the Black Ops (2010) 6v6 map, WMD, Coming to the Cold War.
With a massive multiplayer map featuring multiple indoor and outdoor power locations, WMD Return is sure to be something Call of Duty OGs will enjoy.
Second, it brings a new update with the Vargo 52 Assault Rifle that will definitely shake up the Warzone weapon roster charts.
In-game, the Vargo 52 is described as a “fully automatic assault rifle”, “good damage at medium range”, and “a fast rate of fire”. It looks like it will also boast “improved wrestling speed and stable, reliable fire control”.

It looks like it won’t be a one-time thing, as Treyarch specifically calls it the “first content update of 2022”. It is not known when the next update will arrive.
