A list of our Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Assault Rifles is here to determine which weapon is best used on Caldera, Fortune’s Keep, and Rebirth Island with the release of the latest major Raven software update.
With the Season 4 patch, we not only got the new Marco 5 SMGs and UGM-8 LMGs, but several major changes were made to various variants. As such, weapons are collected in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 as follows.

Layers
These S tier variants create a meta advance to Warzone weapons. While the NZ-41, H4 Blixen, and Volk are by far the best choices in their roles, the others listed here could certainly come across as usable weapons. Now that the STG44 is extended across almost the entire board, the NZ-41 Orbweaver 360mm BC gun is now arguably the best AR variant in Warzone. The only “broken” SMG option at the moment will likely be the H4 Blixen, which, to be fair, would be less effective in mid-tier battles.
Arrange
In A Tier, there are a variety of options that apply at the highest level and generally remain very balanced for use in Warzone. Essentially, these options go beyond the basic meta, but can still get the job done and keep you competitive. Initial data suggests it’s only a matter of time before the all-new UGM-8 LMG goes meta. Meanwhile, the all-new Marco 5 SMG will also be there, as the jury is still out on just how meta it will be. Modern Warfare Kar98k can see players starting to use him as his Flinch is broken. After gaining some approval, Itra Burst and FFAR 1 may soon enter an elite chat to support snipers.
B-level
This weapon remains available at Rank B in Season 4, but there are certain skills anyone can use for more players to seriously consider mastering. Overall, these tools are good, but have nothing to set them apart as fun or exciting options. Many of them are still very popular, but statistically not as good as the guns listed above. The Swiss K31 was part of a group that broke their Flinch, but it’s generally not impressive because it’s not as light as the Modern Warfare Kar98k. Bren saw a slight jolt in Muzzle Velocity, but it still won’t be the same due to the nerfs he’s had over the seasons.
C layer
Tier C contains weapons that can actually be used in Buff in Warzone. Take a look at the list of options here, there are no inspiring names worth changing on a load drop. It took advantage of some injuries from Black Ops Cold War AUG, but it’s still unclear if it will inspire players to use it.
Layer D
At this point in the layer list, this tool has no place in the meta. While a higher level of this tier is good enough for players to still get a kill or two, it gets pretty scary at the end of the list.
