Some players are reporting that Apex Legends’ longtime weapon may not be here at this point in Season 14: The Hunt.
As many veteran players can attest, the R-301 Carbine has long been one of the most popular weapons in the game, thanks to its consistent backfire pattern.
However, at the start of Season 14, a bug appears that causes the R-301 to disappear without warning.

Now, bullet accuracy is long gone when you advertise with the R301. The animation will be done visually, but the bullets will behave like fire.

As @NixAims posted on Twitter on Aug 16, R-301 currently appears to be broken, so the first shots (ADS) players fire face down will oddly miss the mark, almost like they’re wearing a firearm. armed. Hip kick.
“Once you advertise with the R301, bullet accuracy is long gone,” NixAims said. “The animation will be visual, but the bullets will behave like hip slams.”
A glaring clip of the issue was added to NixAims’ tweet, impacting the cause of NRG pro Christopher “sweet dreams” Sexton.
As a result, it’s hard to tell if this bug is a rare occurrence or a hidden nerf.
In the Apex Legends: Hunted patch notes, the R-301 received no specific changes other than increasing base fire spread with other assault rifles in the game.
As of publication date, this obvious bug has yet to be added to Respawn’s Apex Legends Trello board.
