These feats, strange as they are, can help save your team or lead to your defeat. A new Heat Shield related exploit has surfaced in Apex Legends.
Typically, the heat shield is used to revive or heal your teammates while you’re still in the storm. But this new exploit shows how you can use a rolling heat shield. But how does the heat shield work? Can’t it just be placed where it is launched?
Well, in a Reddit post he shows how he threw a heat shield on a freighter. That’s right, the items you would normally drop for better loot chances. Instead, the heat shield sticks to it and starts moving with the boot.
Of course, this is an extremely situational trick. The freighter should move towards the area and you should have a perfect shot in the boat. However, this trick could still be what saves your team from being eliminated by the region.
This is the second way to use a rolling heat shield. You can place a heat shield on top of the triangle then move around in full shield until the shield is destroyed. However, if there are no triangles around and there is a cargo ship, this is the best trick for you.
