Apex Legends devs confirm Wraith issues with Newcastle Ult

With the introduction of Apex Legends’ newest character, Newcastle, of course, a few new issues have surfaced in the game.

Exploits have already been found to rekindle their silence, but Newcastle Ultimate have been in the spotlight since day one. Her ability is Fortress Wall, which allows her to bring down a wall while quickly navigating the battlefield, giving her the ability to capture enemies or separate team members from dangerous situations. Something players have already discovered about Newcastle is that Horizon’s Black Hole ultimate can lift Newcastle’s fortress wall and reduce the ultimate bill by up to 70%. The same can happen the other way around, and players are still unsure if this is the intended thing.

The issue with the Wraith was documented by Twitter user @grandmaForfeit and it shows the Wraith portal being stunned as it passed through Newcastle’s ultimate zone. This made Wraith unintentionally nervous given that her abilities were unintentionally removed by the developers. Luckily, other users tagged Rico Sanchez in their replies as they worked on the quality design of Respawn and Apex Legends. He asked Respawn’s “Pav” from Live Team Support if anything was going on in the process of fixing this bug. Pav confirmed that it will be installed in the next update.

In a big game like Apex Legends, bugs are guaranteed to show up when something as important as a new Legend is introduced to you, but it’s always very encouraging to see positive engagement between the community and Respawn as soon as possible. .
