Phil Rogers, CEO of Square Enix Americas and Europe, added that the Embracer Group is in line with their ambition to build high-quality games in a sustainable manner and grow existing franchises.

Once this transaction is completed, Embracer Group will receive more than 14,000 employees, 10,000 developers and 124 own studios. More than 230 games are being developed as part of this research, and more than 30 of them are high-budget games.

The Embracer Group is made up of separate divisions of Amplifier Game Invest, Coffee Stain Holding, Dark Horse Media, DECA Games, Gearbox Entertainment, Koch Media, Saber Interactive and THQ Nordic.
