Spiritual successor Settlers received the last major update before full release. Players Pioneers of Pagonia they can re-modify the game, create their own worlds in a comprehensive editor and share them with others.
The new tool offers detailed editing options – from the shape of the island and the type of terrain to the distribution of resources, enemies and treasures to special tasks and artifacts. This way, players can create a completely unique environment according to their imagination, whether they want a peaceful trading colony or a challenge full of dangers.
All community maps are directly integrated into the game and accessible from the main menu. Thanks to cooperation with the service mod.io can be easily sorted and searched by various criteria so players can quickly find a world that suits their playstyle. For beginners, there is a guide on the official Wiki, as well as an instructional video on YouTube.
This update ends the Early Access phase that began in December 2023 and sets the stage for version 1.0 with a story campaign. It will be released on December 11th. with Czech text localization. At the same time, the studio Envision Entertainment did not forget to thank the German Foundation for the Development of the Gaming Industry (BMWK) for its support, thanks to which the project was able to grow.
After the successful completion of development, the studio wants to continue to support the community and expand the game with new elements.
