They worked on the game for over two years, but EA forgot to mention some of them.
Markus Lehtohead of a now defunct studio Ridgeline Gamesdisappointed with the approach Electronic art when composing the closing credits of a recently released film Battlefield 6. According to him, members of his team who worked on the single-player campaign did not receive due recognition.
“These talented developers worked tirelessly for 1 to 2.5 years to create the foundations of the game. (…) Despite their significant contributions, most of the fired employees were mentioned only in the acknowledgments section at the very end of the credits, and some, including myself, were left out altogether,” says Lehto.
As a comment on LinkedIn, a developer with Bungie experience added his own list of Ridgeline Games employees who participated in the development of the new Battlefield.
Ridgeline Games were created at Electronic Arts in the fall of 2022 as a studio developing a single-player campaign for Battlefield. The story ultimately had to be completed at DICE, as EA decided to shut down Ridgeline in early 2024 due to a wave of layoffs.
