Ninja Gaiden 4’s Awesome Boss Fights Buried Repetitive Levels – INDIAN

If I were fifteen, twenty years younger, I would easily call Ninja Gaiden 4 a real gem. Because there are many great moments in it when you cut beautifully animated bosses into pieces or rush through different locations at speed. Especially during boss battles, you can feel that Platinum Games just knows how to create action cinematics. But as a younger person, I probably wouldn’t mind how many hours of mindless button mashing I had to endure for good roles. After half an hour of play, I felt like I had truly seen everything the game had to offer from the regular enemies. And that was largely true for the next ten hours, as the arenas constantly reworked monsters just to stretch out the game’s time.

Although this is the fourth installment in the Ninja Gaiden series, the developers have clearly tried to make it accessible to newcomers, at least in some parts. Thus, the story plays a supporting role, and a completely new hero plays the main role. Yakumo is a ninja from a world that was once tormented by a creature called the Black Dragon. He was sealed away, but his return is imminent, and you intend to stop him. And that seems to be all. This story is a little more complex than what I’m describing here, but obviously it’s meant to be more of an excuse for your travels to various places. The game doesn’t try to give him any more depth than the player needs to empathize with the role of a dumb ninja.
