An interesting project is being prepared on the Czech gaming scene, which could to please all fans of role-playing games and a dark sci-fi atmosphere. Small independent studio wiredconsisting of veterans who previously worked on games such as Mafia, Hidden & Dangerous, Vietcong or Crime Boss: Rockay City, decided to go their own way, without interference from publishers. Their goal is to create CARBONis a dark RPG set in a dystopian cyberpunk/biopunk world, and right now they’re asking the gaming community for help via Kickstarter.
This isn’t the first time we’ve written about Carbon. Could you play the game, thanks demo version try it in March this year. It’s still available on Steam. But only now, after several years of development, is the team moving from skin to market. It has a functional basis – technology, a combat system and part of the plot. The Kickstarter campaign is designed to help expand the world, add new content, and most of all, maintain creative freedom without interference from publishers.
“CARBON is born from pure passion. We want to offer players a sci-fi RPG that combines intense action, atmospheric storytelling and deep gameplay – something we believe has been missing in the market for a long time.” say the developers from Hardwired. At the same time, they’re inviting the community to get involved—whether through sharing the project, financial support, or participating in the official Discord, where fans can help grow the game.
