The Boomer Shooter expansion will be released on October 16, 2025.
Great news for console players – DLC Ionic Fury: AfterShockinitially available only for PC, coming to PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X | S and Nintendo Switch October 16, 2025 The new product was announced by 3D Realms and Fulqrum Publishing together with the developers VOVOINT.
It’s been a long time coming, as two years have passed since its release on PC.
On consoles, players can expect improved gamepad control (more precise aiming), a redesigned user interface and optimization for drivers. Version for Switch provides performance level 60fps – both in portable mode (720p) and when connected to TV (1080p).
Reminder: DLC contains thirteen new levels divided into five zones, new enemies and weapons (such as a cassette launcher for shots), and Organization mode – Remix of the original campaign with new enemies, secret locations and other modifications.
For shooter boomers, this will be a great opportunity to dive into the fast-paced event on consoles, with content that adds new challenges and features to the original game.
