The psychological horror film Layers of Fear will see a new unabridged release called The Final Masterpiece Edition. It will be exclusive to the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console, which is due to hit the market this year.

The Blober team, known for games like Silent Hill 2 Remake or Cronos: The New Dawn, is preparing other projects through its subsidiary Broken Mirror Games. Among them is The Hate This Place, an isometric horror film based on the 1980s comic book of the same name, which was recently pushed back to January 2026.

However, it’s a mysterious Switch exclusive tentatively titled Project M that’s getting the most attention. All we know is that it’s due out next year, and a short teaser suggests the M could refer to Puppet.

Following the success of Silent Hill 2, the remake studio is also working on a remake of the first Silent Hill, which is being created in collaboration with Konami.
