Fans Duke Nukem 3D there is something to look forward to – moderator Dan Peterson (pseudonym cheello) is preparing a project Voxel Duke Nukem 3Dwhich completely converts 2D sprites to 3D voxel objects. The trailer, which was recently released by the author, shows a number of iconic monsters and levels now rotating and reacting in 3D space – compared to the original “rotating” effect when moving.

The mod supposedly contains almost a thousand voxel modelswhich accurately preserve the original style and proportions of the sprites.

All characters, props, objects and scenery have been transformed and now look spatial. The exact release date has not yet been announced – the trailer only says “Coming soon.”

This project follows the previous work of modder u Voxel doomwhere he has already demonstrated the ability to convert classic FPS to voxel form.

Undoubtedly, if the mod is successful, the old classic will offer a new coat. He can then attract both veterans and new players. The game’s story is a little more attractive.
