Studio The Builder and the Rocket Boy (Barb) encountered after an unmanaged game release Eye of the Mind Also complaints about working conditions. The open letter, published by the Independent Workers of Great Britain (IWGB), was signed by 93 current and former employees of the team. They point to poor communication, disproportionate overtime and unmanageable layoffs.

“For years you were expected to conform to your every whim, and those who disagreed with you were silenced or shut down. It is estimated that between 250 and 300 employees in the UK have lost their livelihoods for decades,” wrote the studio’s management, led by Leslim Benziesformer producer of the GTA series.

More precisely, there is a letter, for example, before the release of Mindsey: “You have introduced a mandatory eight hours of overtime per week for each employee for four months before the game.” He doesn’t forget the subsequent release: “Employees were given the wrong information, were fired with the wrong notice period, and were assigned to the wrong teams, so their performance was evaluated by the wrong people.”

Representative employees are demanding a public apology, a choice between a notice period and immediate severance for additionally released developers, documented efforts to improve the company’s situation, and cooperation with outside partners in handling future testimony.
