Icelandic DLC rest brings many changes and the new city of Kahaya.
Over the past two weeks, the creators have presented a new city in the form of several shorter demonstrations and trailers. However, on August 15, 2025, an official stream took place, where they more carefully presented new content. First of all, innovations were introduced that will affect the game. Therefore, they tried to configure the game so that we could better understand what Zoi characters feel. It is also accompanied by the addition of icons of internal feelings that will appear above their heads. They also changed the systems of conversations and relationships when we want to wait again for more genuine experience. Thus, now we can count on the recently added romantic elements, for example, in the form of dating, decay, wiring or opportunities when one ZOI is literally obsessed with the other.
And the last, but no less important: group classes were added to the game, such as the opportunity to prepare a family dinner or play games (chess and the like). The developers also accepted the criticism of the players. They made it clear that there were not many things in the city, and they look so empty. Now we can count on 25 new places where we can take our Zoie or even build elevators wherever we want. The city should also work more clearly thanks to additional scooters and motorcycles, which are mainly part of the new city of Kahaya, which we will talk about now.
Tropical paradise
In each city, now we can expect a bus that is used for the transportation of ZOI not only to a new destination, but also to other cities. You can still use a travel computer. The new city should be somewhere between Down and Bliss Bay (Down – the smallest of all three cities). With the advent of the new city, the creators want to offer players the opportunity to lead a more relaxed life. There are no classic works, only a few such “rabbit sticks”. Thus, the type of work where we do not control the figure. Instead, players can focus on the rest and study of the ocean, fishing, as well as on agriculture or search for other objects of the collector, digging.
What can you do here?
The first big novelty is the opportunity to delve into the ground and find different things. Whether this will be precious stones or other materials from which you can even produce other items. These collections of discovered objects will be present in the entire household, so you can collect it with a large number of characters to live together. If instead of racing in the country, you want to go to the sea adventure, there are no problems. Now it will be possible to travel here even by boat to catch fish right on the open sea. Of course, the question is whether the creators added swimming, as was originally promised.

And the answer – yes! With the advent of this DLC, he will finally be able to climb into the water and enjoy free movement, whether in the sea or pools. However, even here the creators took another step forward. With your characters, you can even plunge into AI to look for more treasures in your collection, including mysterious fish species. Nevertheless, the diving movement is currently limited, and it will be impossible to move freely where you want. Nevertheless, development continues, and in the future free movement is promised during diving.
At the same time, you may not be lucky to bring to your ship. If the storm attacks you at sea, you can tolerate a crash on an abandoned island. Here you will have to live on the path of Robinson. It was not identified how you can leave, but, of course, this is another big detail. The last major new occupation will be agriculture. Thus, you can bet on all kinds of cultures and plants on your property, and again the creators tried to make the most realistic experience. Since we can expect more weather and natural disasters with the advent of this update.

Nevertheless, there is another new element, which is the insurance management and finances. Cahaya will also offer markets and shops in its main part. You can open your own position in the market and sell all the items that you collect, the fish that you will catch or even have grown. Prices will change in the store and in the market on the day, therefore, if you hit and sell anything, when there is the greatest demand, you can really earn good money.

The second part of the island will be offered by a resort that can visit Zoe, who wants to relax here only during the holiday holiday. You can rent a room in this resort. Although, according to the developers, now it acts as a purchase, not rent. However, they also intend to work, and then improve this experience. In any case, you can focus on various relaxation measures in the form of massage, swimming in the pool, visit a local restaurant, as well as other events related only to this place.

In addition, everything that we currently indicated in detail, the creators also announced improved light rendering, enrichment and improvement, new information about the screen, the best ZOI reaction to the environment and, of course, new adaptation options, such as outfits and hairstyles.
