Digital Foundry, average, focused on technical tests of video games, announced today that now it is becoming independent. The editors were previously part of the Eurogamer magazine, which was bought by IGN last year, as well as many other media. Now, however, 50% of the shares of the IGN, owned by IGN, bought an editor -in the course of the digital foundry Richard Lidbetter, along with the investor Rupert Loman. We do not know the exact amount, but Headbetter in the video of notifications says that this was his largest purchase for his whole life, a large amount than he gave for his home.

Leadbetter promises that this will mean more interesting content for the audience. For example, he plans to add another editor member to help light the version for the PC, on which only Alex Battalia is now working, or begins his own pages, where all the articles DF will appear, which were previously available in Eurogamer. John Lynneman is planned to plunge more in retro games and consoles.

Finally, the editors ask fans to consider financial support from the Patreon channel, thanks to which viewers can get on the video before others.
