It’s been a while since Insomniac Games announced what the fifth PS5 game, Marvel’s Wolverine, will be. But it looks like work on the Marvel’s Wolverine mo-cap will begin soon, suggesting the game is currently in development at the studio.
Mike Yosh, the game’s lead animator, excitement An image from Insomniac’s mo-cap studio and the caption, “So peaceful and calm,… won’t take long.” This strongly suggests that while the game hasn’t started yet, it will soon begin motion capture work, with the script, plot, and main narrative beats aligned.
Although the game is entering a new phase of development, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be Insomniac’s fourth PS5 title and will be released before Wolverine in 2023. So don’t wait until at least 2024 for a gameplay demo of Logan to cut a gameplay demo of Logan and cuts people into pieces of skin, and you’ll have to wait even longer for the release date of Marvel’s Wolverine.
Anyway, it’s still exciting news and it’s great to know that the project is progressing well at the Californian studio.
