Microsoft has created a new Xbox environment specifically for portable devices.
Microsoft presented a portable presentation for today’s Xbox, which has long thought. It was created in collaboration with ASUS and is called Rog Xbox ALLY, as the name implies, based on the ROG ally.
In any case, the main advantage of the new device should be a special Xbox environment, which Microsoft created specifically for portable ones. According to YouTuber Dave2D, which can have a limited degree for a portable device, this should lead to a significantly higher endurance or more memory for games.
In addition, the new user interface offers a more friendly user, such as Steam deck with his Steamos. Microsoft also promises that the environment will be connected not only to your Xbox library, but also with other launchers, so there should be no problems for starting the games from Steam.
As for the specifications, the base model will offer the AMD Ryzen Z2 chip, which should be approximately at the level of the deck. It is also equipped with a LPPDDR5X 16 GB memory with a frequency of 6400 MHz, 512 GB of NVMe SSD, 7 -inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080P and Refrem 120 Hz, including VRR support. The battery has a capacity of 60 watts.
But there will also be the best ROG Xbox ALLY X, which will bring a much more powerful extreme chip RYZEN Z2, twice as large than a larger storage, 24 GB of memory more fast specification (8000 MHz) and the best connection, such as USB4. The battery capacity will also be higher, in particular, 80 hours.
We still do not know the price or accurate release date, in any case, both devices must arrive somewhere in the winter. At first, however, they will be available only in the selected markets, and the Czech Republic is not one of them. This should get to us after a while.
