But AMD does not end there and introduced another wave of new functions on Computex, called FSR Redstone.

Vice -President of AMD Jack Hunh, who presented the news at the conference, has focused on tracing the path. According to him, this is too demanding, and that is why AMD has developed these technologies, which should help not only with performance, but also the resulting image quality.

The first is the nervous caching of the radiance, which is a technique that helps AI, how and where the light will be reflected. And, as it was already here, this should ensure the best performance and quality of general lighting. By the way, this is a similar technology that NVIDIA offers under an almost identical nominal cache of neural radiance.

Most Hun emphasized the function of rays regeneration. Again, it looks like a NVIDIA called Ray Reconstruction, was added in the DLSS 3.5 version. In principle, the technology for the names using rays or tracing tracks replaces standard denusers (which are often not very good) and with the help of AI remove noise in the image that is created from the absence of pixel color.

The latest news relate to the technology already proposed by AMD, in particular, images generation. Until now, he has used a standard algorithmic model, but now, as in the case of scale, it will go to machine training. Thus, we would have to get more generated images. But whether the support of the multiple gene, which was proposed by NVIDIA, will not yet be confirmed.

The FSR Redstone should arrive in the second half of this year, heading only for RDNA 4 architecture cards, that is, RX 9000. Unlike scale, it cannot be expected that AMD can get functions on the old graphics.
