But they will have to hit Blueeders.
In February, we wrote that NVIDIA canceled 32 -bit CUDA applications with several RTX 50 graphics cards and, therefore, 32 -bit Physx. The technology, which led to the better destruction of the environment or modeling liquids and particle effects, was not available to the owners of new cards in a number of games, respectively, this was not only possible through the processor, but even the most powerful processors to date on Physx are far from sufficient amounts. In any case, it seems that there may be a certain salvation.
The WCCFTECH magazine reported that NVIDIA published a full SDK for Physx. It was available for more than 6 years, but it was only a version of the processor, now the GPU implementation code was published.
This is just another proof that Nvidia will probably leave technology, but the good news is that it does not support it yourself. Thanks to the published code, it should be possible to “repair” more old names (mainly to make a transition level between 32 -bit and 64 -bit CUDA), which are no longer supported. Of course, it will be necessary to work with moderators who would like to do something like that.
The source code is published only within a short time, so we probably cannot yet count on some results, but perhaps over the next few months, RTX 50 owners will actually see unofficial support for 32 -bit PHYSX in older names.
