What the worst idea can you get? The abduction of a girl is a man who does not feel pain. Novocaine Action comedy brings an unexpected combination of tension, humor and adrenaline, in which the main character proves that sometimes there is no need to be a warrior to win.
The protagonist is Nathan Cain (Jack Kueid), an ordinary bank clerk, whose life is complicated by a rare disorder that prevents the perception of physical pain. While someone will use these “superpowers” for tricks, Nathan chooses the exact opposite – he lives carefully and avoids any danger. But everything changes when the robbers attack his bank and take away their new colleague, who began to fall under his skin. Thus, a carefree official suddenly becomes a decisive avenger who independently pursues the kidnapper. He cannot fight, he does not shoot, like the heroes of the militants, but has one huge advantage – nothing will hurt. This makes him an unexpected threat that criminals do not recognize.
Director Robert Olsen Describes Novocaine As an action movie with a new approach: “This is not John Vick, where the hero with a review destroys enemies, as well as a classic story about a secret agent in secrecy. Nathan is an ordinary guy who is not aware of his advantage until he is forced to use it.
Novocaine is a refreshing effect where adrenaline and humor go hand in hand. The film shows that even the least likely hero can become a nightmare for every villain. Prepare for an unexpected turn in the militants genre!
