Already in 2022 it was announced that the recently created independent studio bite reactor was working on a strategy based on a tactical turn from the world of star wars. More than three years after this report, we finally found out when the game is completely introduced. This will happen on April 19 as part of an event to celebrate Star Wars, which takes place in Japan this year.
Although Bit Reactor is a new studio, the developers are mainly veterans and about a third of the team that previously worked in Firaxis in the XCOM series, including the founder and boss Bit Reactor Greg FoertSch. XCOM should be an excellent source of inspiration for the studio, but earlier developers said that they would like to transfer the genre a little further.
For example, in an interview with Magazine PC Gamer, they said that they would like to create a little more story and cinema without removing the depth of the gameplay. They also want to pay great attention to the availability of players who do not have experience with the genre.
The new game, somewhat unconventional, will release Studio Respawn, which has star wars with extensive experience thanks to the Action Adventures Star Wars Jedi series. Now they are working on the third and, probably, in the last episode that closed the planned trilogy.
