Former developers of such series as BioShock, Borderlands and Age of Empires, some time ago founded their own independent studio called Stray Kite in Dallas, Texas. Today this new team presented their premiere title called Wartorn. This is an adventure fantasy game that combines elements of the RTS and RPG genres.
In the story field, the player will follow the journey of two elven sisters as they try to reunite their family. The authors offer moral dilemmas and struggles with various threats and opponents. Much attention should also be paid using magic led by attacks using water, fire or electricity.
As part of the gameplay itself, the developers relied on rogue-lite elements and gradually improving your character’s abilities. Wartorn will be released this spring through Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The developers are not talking about console versions yet. You can watch a preview of the premiere below.
