Former vice president and later president of PlayStation Studios Shuhei Yoshida commented on the Bloodborne series in an interview with the Kinda Funny Games channel. In particular, the player was bitten by the criticized lack of an improved version for PlayStation 5 and a port on PC.

Yoshida said that given Sony’s support for other remasters, he understands the frustration of players who want Bloodborne to be treated at least the same way. At the same time, he thinks that the main reason is general. employment of FromSoftware studio led by his boss Hidetaka Miyazaki.

According to Yoshida, Miyazaki himself does not want to trust the brand of another studioand Sony, as the owner of the intellectual property, must respect this wish. So players will likely have no choice but to wait until FromSoftware finds time for Bloodborne.
