Sony has announced it will increase the frequency of major firmware updates this year. PlayStation 5. The Japanese company wants to regularly offer players new features and keep the console modern and attractive in the future. Change should be made possible by improved technology that will make the entire upgrade process faster and more efficient.
Until now, the PS5 has received two major updates per year – in the spring and in the fall. These updates brought, for example, user interface improvements or new features. However, this frequency is expected to increase significantly from 2025.. While Sony has yet to announce exact details, gamers can expect new features and shorter wait times between updates.
