STALKER: Legends of the Zone, trilogy will see the next generation edition. The PC version will also receive improvements. This update is scheduled for release in 2025.
At the same time, the creators confirmed that early next year they will publish a roadmap of key updates and changes for STALKER 2. The goal is not only to fix bugs and shortcomings, but also to add new features that will keep players in the world of the Zone for as long as possible. Two story expansions and multiplayer should contribute to this. Moreover, this must happen in PlayStation 5 version. This has not yet been officially confirmed. However, we do know that Microsoft has a three-month exclusive option for the console.
Thus, 2025 will be an important year for the STALKER series. We are also talking about Netflix series. Maxime Kripp, owner of GSC Game World, told Forbes in an interview that some negotiations are underway, but a final decision has not yet been made.
