We can’t take ourselves so seriously all the time. Gaming is an artistic medium that is now quite capable of presenting heartbreaking stories that intersect with social issues. But they’re also fun. These ten studios understand this so much that they aren’t afraid to poke fun at anything. Mostly from myself.

The first DLC for Alan Wake, Night Springs, is still vivid in our memories, and we may even remember the advertising campaign that preceded it. In this case, the Remedy studio, so to speak, changed its clothes and changed its name, which means medicine, to Poison Pill Entertainment, that is, capsules with poison.
We learned what this means in the third, story part of the DLC. In it, Remedy breaks the fourth wall in its own way, and we, as players, find ourselves in said studio. There we meet Sam Lake up close and personal as a megalomaniacal director who bombards us not only with his enthusiasm but also with the complex plot of his upcoming sci-fi, full of B-grade clichés and absurd abbreviations of game tools. After this confrontation, the question arises of how much the caricature is worth and how much is the real identity of Sam Lake.
The Finnish creative is definitely not afraid to laugh at himself since playing detective Max Payne, and to this day he still shows off his notorious expressions wherever he can.
