And here is another somewhat unexpected announcement from The Game Awards 2024. Hinterland studio announced BLACKFROST: The Long Dark 2The sequel to the popular survival game The Long Dark, released in Early Access and improved over 10 years of development.
The authors behind the first volume themselves describe the second volume as evolution of the survival sandboxwhich improves on every aspect of the original game and introduces the co-op formula. This game will also go into Early Access. But we will learn the details closer to the launch, which is scheduled for 2026.
