Today comes a new content update for the currently popular MMOARPG Lost Ark, the western version of which has been hosted by Amazon Game Studios. The main attraction is the new profession Glaivier (perhaps known to you as Lance Master from other versions of the game) and the new continent – South Vern. Glaivier belongs to the class of martial arts, i.e. martial arts experts. His weapon is a spear, with which he can destroy hordes of enemies. All this in really good animations. All players who have completed the story on the Feiton Continent (end of 2nd level) so far will receive a so-called Power Pass, through which it will be possible to upgrade the Glaivier to item level 960. You can also use the Power Pass for other professions. This eliminates the need for a paid upgrade.
The story continues on the newly added South Verne continent, which is the second location for the third level after Punica. To enter, you must have a character with an item level of at least 1340. The update also includes a new activity called Chaos Line, which is practically a dungeon with hordes of enemies and a time limit (not to be confused with Chaos Dungeons). Unfortunately, only the normal version for ilvl 1370 will be available. The Field Boss, Chaos Gate and Chaos Dungeons will be unlocked later, when there are more people at ilvl 1415. Once again, there is a delay of players who have invested a significant part of their free time in Lost Ark. In my opinion, concessions to casual players are simply inappropriate in an MMO.
In addition to fixing bugs and bugs, Lost Ark also receives the so-called Ark Pass. This is a classic season pass, known to us from many online games. There will be three options – Free, Premium and Super Premium. While the first one is free, the other two cost 1500 and 3000 Royal Crystals respectively, a currency that can be bought with real money. This range is from 15 to 30 euros. And finally, the insert of the comic. An apology appeared on the Lost Ark forum last night for Amazon Game Studios not being able to roll out the update in time. However, after only fifty minutes, the community manager released a report that everything was prosecuted. Internal communication within the company must be truly tragic, and many of the players are Amazon Game Studios people to laugh at. I’m not at all surprised.
