When this summer sandbox adventure Elands from the Czech studio Bohemia Interactive came out in a paid and purely single-player version for the Nintendo Switch, it may seem that the development of the entire project is slowly but surely coming to an end. And now the creators have confirmed this. The chapter entitled “Ilands” concludes with the words the game, which has been available for many years in free form on Steam and on mobile phones, is not expecting new content. The creators are not counting on additional game elements or special events. As for the content, it is almost ready.
On the islands but in Ilands, players could build and survive for quite a long time, namely almost 10 years. Although the game appeared in preview, then still a paid access, on Steam in 2017, two years earlier the first interested people could buy an alpha version with its own launcher in the Bohemia Interactive online store. The entire history of the development and support of the project is also reminiscent of the new video.
