Not only Ubisoft, but also Activision are struggling with employee resistance. Dozens of employees went on strike quality control department. The testers who monitor the quality of Call of Duty hate coming back to the office. They demand that they can continue to work remotely from the comfort of their home.

The protest started the week it came out Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The CWA union report said many of the protesters also participated in Modern Warfare 2, one of the highest-grossing games in history.

The CWA calls this regulation a soft layoff. According to the union, Activision is using the return to offices as a way to indirectly reduce the number of employees. Activision should make appropriate adjustments to accommodate employees with special needs.

Meanwhile, Activision commented on this. Interviews are held with employees to discuss adjustments.
