Ubisoft has closed early access to Assassin’s Creed Shadows

After the postponement and cancellation of the season pass comes another unexpected news.

Ubisoft has announced another change related to the launch of the anticipated sequel to the Assassin’s Creed series, subtitled Shadows. Following the recent postponement of the game from November to February next year, season pass cancellation and the announcement of the Steam version in which the game will appear on release day, priority access was canceled.

According to the original plan, they were supposed to have exclusive access to it. Collector’s Edition subscriberswho will have access to the game in this form three days before the official release. The developers announced this news in their Discord with a note that the rest of the content of the above-mentioned collector’s edition, led by the physical figure, will remain with minor changes.

Due to the cancellation of Early Access and the aforementioned changes to the content of the Collector’s Edition, Ubisoft has also begun reduction in its pricewhich dropped from 290 to 240 euros for console variants. In the PC version, the collectible will be available for 230 euros. Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on February 14 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
