The concept of a traditional store is already a thing of the past in the gaming world.
Xzone opened a new store in Prague in the Lužiny OC. For the Czech specialist in fan, collectible and gaming goods, this is the first premises in the shopping center and at the same time the store with the largest area. The concept of a traditional store, where the buyer comes only to buy a game or a new controller, is already a thing of the past in the gaming world. That’s why Xzone also includes a gaming center designed for playing card games, board games or war games. There are 10 tables available on the site for up to 40 players, with further expansion expected in the future depending on interest. Basic snacks are also available.
Even before the grand opening, dozens of customers were eagerly awaiting special offers. In the first half hour, more than a hundred satisfied customers took home not only their product, but also a lithograph and an exclusive gift pillow inspired by the Luzhniki metro station, dotted with their favorite characters. Visitors were able to try out collectible card and board games on site, which were taught to them by a staff of experienced players. Interested people young and old could then paint the faces of their favorite characters for free. The store was surrounded by customers all the time.
The connection with the gaming center Xzone has already proven itself in Brno. Moravská prodejna has had the highest gaming status “WPN Premium” for the second year, awarded by Wizards of the Coast, publisher of the card game Magic: The Gathering, and is also the official gaming site of Pokémon TCG, Disney Lorcan, Star Wars. : Unlimited or One Piece TCG. Thanks to an enthusiastic and friendly community of players, the Brno premises soon became a sought-after and popular venue for card tournaments and Warhammer battles. The new store in the Luzhiny OC pursues the same goals: to unite the local community of gamers and create a pleasant space to play their favorite games.
“We want Xzone to be a place where you can buy everything related to games, records, cards, books, vinyl, comics and other goods related to games, movies and TV shows – just a pop culture store that is not here . In addition, anyone can come here to play a tournament, paint figures, attend a big game premiere or an interesting thematic lecture. This is our vision.” says Martin Szowaniec, co-owner of Xzone.
The current Xzone store on Korunni Street remains. Customers who have been used to this for almost 20 years will not have to worry about any changes.
