The developers of the SH2 remake are announcing a new game that will be released next year.
Less than two weeks have passed since the release of the remake of the second Silent Hill, which surprised gamers around the world. The Polish studio behind the remake, Bloober Team, is working on several other projects and announced one of them at today’s Xbox Partner Preview event.
Essentially, it’s confirmed that Bloober wants to create more ambitious games than ever before. It moved from “walking simulators” to survival horror. Their new game is called Cronos: The New Dawn and has a post-apocalyptic setting.
In the game, we take on the role of the so-called Traveler, an agent of the Collective Organization, whose goal is to save selected people who did not survive the apocalypse. We will have to move through a devastated landscape and travel through time, while the action is based on Poland in the 80s of the last century.
Cronos: The New Dawn will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It will be released next year.
