A new Destiny has been revealed, subtitled Rising.

The Chinese company NetEase Games has announced the long-awaited mobile spin-off of the Destiny series. Title with title Destiny: Rising is described as a free-to-play role-playing shooter based on Bungie’s Destiny brand universe. This gave the license to Chinese developers without involvement in the development of the game itself.

The authors propose to be transported to an alternative timeline by combining first and third person view as well as single, cooperative and competitive game modes. Familiar characters from previous series should also have their place.
