PC gamers won’t like this too much.
On Tuesday, Rockstar Games announced the long-awaited PC version of the Western action game Red Dead Redemption. Apart from the trailer, hardware requirements and basic information, we also learned the release date, which was scheduled for October 29. However, there is still a question mark hanging over the price, which only became known today thanks to the launch of pre-orders.
The game will appear on Steam, Epic Games Store and Rockstar Store. cost 50 euro/1189 CZK. The PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch ports released a year ago are also selling for the same price, so it’s not much of a surprise in that regard. Whether this is an adequate price tag for a 14-year-old game is up to you to decide.
The developers of the port itself from the Double Eleven studio are trying to lure players into partial technical improvements in the form of support for 4K resolution combined with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz or offering technologies such as AMD FSR 3.0 and NVIDIA DLSS 3.7.
