The history of the legendary Transformers returns to its origins. Find out how the feud between Optimus Prime and Megatron began and why they had to leave their home planet of Cybertron. In addition, you will get all this in a new, animated version.
Before they became the famous Transformers, Orion Pax (the future Optimus Prime) and D-16 (the future Megatron) were ordinary mechanical inhabitants of the planet Cybertron who did not yet lack the ability to transform. While D-16 fully complied with all of the rather strict rules in force on his world, Orion Pax broke them as much as he could. However, they were the best of buddies who would stick their hand in the melting furnace for each other. Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances and Optima’s adventurous nature, they find themselves on the run from justice, where they are joined by the toy Bumblebee and the badass Elite-1. Together they travel to the places where their planet was born, to a forbidden corner of the world hidden from mere mortals, where they discover the legendary warrior Alpha Trion, who has defended their homeland since time immemorial. It is from him that the four adventurers gain the ability to transform at will. But before they can stop messing around, they will have to use the acquired skills for much more important purposes. Cybertron is in mortal danger, and only truly exceptional people will be able to save it. But they will have to stick together, and this is a task as difficult as saving the entire world.
After the successful Transformers series, consisting of six films and one trailer called Bumblebee, an animated version is being released, which is supposed to be the beginning of a planned trilogy. “The whole movie takes place on Cybertron, there are no people in it, just robots, animation was just the most natural choice.” explains director Josh Cooley, whose new product, with its playfulness and lightness, is designed to be more aimed at family audiences.
