The autumn season is in full swing.
POLL: The most anticipated game of October 2024 according to Zing.cz readers
Several highly anticipated games were released in September. For example, we can highlight the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 event, the PlayStation exclusive Astro Bot, or the Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown race. But the story The Casting of Frank Stone from the studio Supermassive Games, the action-adventure The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom from Nintendo or the strategy Ara: History Untold and Frostpunk 2 also deserve mention.
The busy fall season is expected to continue into October, when first of all we will see the release of the new Call of Duty subtitle Black Ops 6 and the continuation of the Dragon Age series under the nickname The Veilguard. Three remakes of old games will also be released.
In particular, these will be remakes of the games Silent Hill 2 and Until Dawn, which will complement the remaster of the action adventure film Horizon Zero Dawn. Other news includes a new year for the NHL franchise, Diablo IV’s Vessel of Hatred expansion, story-driven adventure game Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, and Nintendo’s Super Mario Party Jamboree title.

Already at the beginning of the month, attention will be drawn to the new year of the NHL series from Electronic Arts. This year, the game will be released for the first time only on current generation consoles, from which a significant percentage of players are hoping for advances in graphics.
The developers themselves, in addition to the more modern technical aspect, also promise improvements to the gameplay. However, the licenses will remain an integral part of the game, led by the North American NHL, which will bring a new team from Utah into the game in addition to the existing teams.
Until Dawn remake

Nine years after the release of the original version, the horror story Before Dawn will receive a full-fledged remake. It will be released on the PlayStation 5 console and computers, where the game will premiere.
If the original game was published by the now famous studio Supermassive Games, then the remake was developed by the British team Ballistic Moon. He decided to choose the proven Unreal Engine 5 as a basis. The result should be more modern graphics and improved gameplay.
