At the end of today’s State of Play presentation, PS5 console architect Mark Cerny took the floor, reminding us of the announcement of the PlayStation 5 Pro console. The improved hardware brings improved rasterization and ray tracing performance, as well as native PSSR scaling. A separate showcase showed off a few improved games, but SoP also confirmed more titles.

As part of the “PS5 Pro Enhanced” collection of games, we could see the action RPG Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which Digital Foundry believes will bring truly massive improvements, as well as Horizon Forbidden West, a remaster of the second game. The Last of Us, Gran Turismo 7, Hogwarts Legacy, Alan Wake 2, Dragon’s Dogma 2, The Crew: Motorfest, The First Descendant, Demon’s SoulS, F1 24, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Assassin’s Creed Shadows or Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. These are all games we already knew about.

What other evidence is there? These are relatively large works, such as survival horror films. Evil Village Abode And Resident Evil 4 Remakerole play Star Bladethe second part of the series “Star Wars: Jedi” subtitled “The Survivor”P.S. exclusivity Rise of the Roninrole play Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veil and last but not least remake of the third part of Metal Gear Solid with the subtitle “Snake Eater”.

It should be added that even this list is not complete: Cerny previously promised between 40 and 50 improved games that we will see at the launch of the PS5 Pro. This is scheduled for November 7, with the console selling for 20,290 crowns, without mechanics and a stand. Pre-orders will begin on Thursday.
