Shadows of Assassin’s Creed will offer advanced base management reminiscent of a strategy game. An evolution of the system that was already underway in Assassin’s Creed 2, it was prematurely revealed in a leaked video. Players will have more control, being able to freely place buildings and structures on land divided into plots.
You can rotate buildings, create paths between them, and decorate everything with various trinkets to create your own base. At least that’s how one of the designers describes the system improvements in the second dev diary. It was prematurely published on IGN China. As usual, fans managed to download the video and move it somewhere else for everyone to see. It should be officially available in the coming days.
The first dev diary was less than six minutes long and focused on two main characters with different playstyles. If you haven’t seen it yet, I recommend watching a video about the beauty of feudal Japan.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on November 15th this year for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
