Developers from KT Racing studio continue to improve Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown before its release. They address concerns raised by the console’s recent beta. The new trailer showcases improved graphics and lighting, improved grip and drift physics, increased traffic density, sounds, and interior quality. They also focus on small details like exhaust smoke and tire smoke.
Thanks to these and other changes during the game we should have better sense of speed and overall more enjoyable gameplay. So, let’s see how the game ultimately performs when it launches on September 12 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The more expensive version will unlock the game 7 days early.
By the way, the second part of the beta (this time for all console pre-orders) will start on the 27th and will run until August 30th. Again, it should only allow you to play at 30 frames per second. The Performance mode with 60 frames in 1080p will only be available in the full version.
